As a follow-up to our Writing the Holocaust and Publishing the Holocaust series, three members of the Second Generation – Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg, Nick Barlay and Rosemary Schonfeld – will speak about the ‘after life’ of their books of family history research/memoir: the impact they have had, how they have been received, how they have been used, in the UK and elsewhere.
After presentations that will include Rabbi Wittenberg talking about My Dear Ones, Nick Barlay about Scattered Ghosts and Rosemary Schonfeld about Finding Relly, there will be a chance for members of the Second and Third Generations still researching, writing or finally preparing manuscripts for publication to consider and discuss what after-life their own works might have.
Start time: 6.20pm for 6.30pm BST to give everyone time to set up and check their Zoom connections. The Eventbrite link is https://afterlife-books.eventbrite.co.uk
