Second Generation Network is a UK-based non-profit-making organisation for the children, grandchildren and families of refugees from and survivors of Nazi persecution. The Network welcomes new members from all countries.

Associate Membership is available at the discretion of the Network Committee for individuals not eligible to join as full Members. For further information, email us here.
Joining and Renewing can be done either online or manually. Please see below and select the method of your choice to join the Network or renew your membership.
Joining the Network
Applying to join the Network online is a two-step process — completing the online Registration Form and making payment (both on the same page). After completing the online registration process, you will receive a login ID to access the Members’ Area of the website.

Applying to join the Network manually is a two-step process — downloading and completing a Membership Application Form and making payment.

Complete the Membership Application Form; then scan it or take a photo of it and email it to email@example.com.
There are the following options for making payment:
Payment by Standing Order is preferred. It helps us to keep the cost of Membership as low as possible and you don’t need to remember to renew each year.
You may set up a Standing Order in two different ways:
(1) online directly with your bank (via your bank’s website), or
(2) click here to download a Standing Order form to send or take to your bank.
Notify the Network when you have set up the Standing Order by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

PayPal or credit/debit card
To pay via your PayPal account or directly by credit/debit card:
– select your subscription fee from the dropdown menu below
– then click on the orange <Subscribe> button
– you will be asked to either log in to your PayPal account or to pay by debit or credit card. Click on your preferred option.
Note: when you pay by debit/credit card, you will still be going through the PayPal system, just not through a PayPal account, and if you pay via PayPal you are agreeing to PayPal’s terms and conditions.
Renewing your Membership
Once you have received your automatic renewal reminder, use this online system to renew and pay for your membership. Renewing your membership is also available in the Members’ Area in Your Account.
You will keep the same login ID to access the Members’ Area.

Renewing your Network Membership using the manual system is a two-step process — downloading and completing a Membership Renewal Form and making payment.

Payment can be made by Standing Order, Bank transfer or PayPal (see above – Making Payment).
The Network is a self-supporting organisation. Voluntary donations are always welcome and will support the activities of the Network.
- access to all our events, including Member-only events, (currently held on Zoom)
- access to the Members’ Area of our website, which includes recordings of talks and presentations,
- subscription to our magazine, Second Generation Voices, published three times a year
- regular email notifications of our events and events of related organisations.
Accessing the Members’ Area
Access to the Members’ Area requires a personal login ID.
If you are an existing Member of the Network and have already registered for access to the Members’ Area, you will be able to log in using your existing ID.
If you are an existing Member who is not currently registered, please click here to obtain a login ID.
If you join online you will automatically receive a login ID.
If you join using the manual system, please click here to obtain a login ID after sending in a completed Membership Application form.

Monthly Events Emails
As part of your Network Membership you will receive regular Network emails providing details of events organised by the Network and other groups of interest. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may unsubscribe at any time by emailing the Network by clicking here.
Data Protection Policy
