On a sunny, warm afternoon over 40 members of the Network joined together in Regent’s Park, London, to celebrate thirty years and share food from our heritage. The picnic represented all the places we came from: Germany, Austria, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia, and the wider continent that shaped our families. In the end, it embodied exactly what the second generation has always represented.
