Tuesday 8th September – Discussion Group on Commemoration: To lay Stolpersteine or not to lay Stolpersteine? That is the question…

These commemorative ‘stumbling’ stones are one way to honour the memory of relatives persecuted and murdered by the Nazi regime but they can raise complex issues. What are your thoughts and experiences? Network committee member Gina Burgess Winning will provide a short introduction to the topic outlining her experience of arranging for the laying of 20 Stolpersteine in the past ten years. An informal discussion group that provides an opportunity for members of the Second and Third Generations to share their views. Start time 6.15pm for 6.30pm to give people time to set up and check their Zoom connection. Numbers will be limited to 20. A Zoom link will be provided. To receive your Zoom invitation, please email davidwirth@secondgeneration.org.uk
